“2007 CHAMPIONS CROWNED AT HICKORY SPEEDWAY”

Newton, NC…Hickory Motor Speedway family and friends gathered on Saturday, Nov 24 th , for their annual Champions' Banquet. Many awards were presented and points funds disbursed, including the following:

Bojangles' Late Model Stocks: Champion – Andy Loden, 2 nd – Kyle Grissom, 3 rd - Chrissy Wallace, 4 th – Kyle Moon, 5 th – David Latour Jr.

Limited Late Models: Champion - Waylon Flynn, 2 nd – Andrew Carlsen, 3 rd – Jarit Johnson, 4 th – Lee Queen, 5 th – Danny Chafin.

Advance Auto Parts Super Trucks: Champion – Dexter Canipe Jr., 2 nd – Keith Bumgarner, 3 rd – J. R. Allen, 4 th – Trevor Hignutt, 5 th – Scott Whittaker.

Pro-4's: Champion - Grant Wimbish, 2 nd – Todd Harrington, 3 rd – Walter Hoke, 4 th – Randy Freeze, 5 th – Curtis Pardue.

Street Stocks: Champion – Kevin Eby, 2 nd – Jeff Sparks, 3 rd – Marshall Sutton, 4 th – Scott Wallace, 5 th – Terrence Tucker.

Hobby Stocks: Champion – Denver Jones, 2 nd – Ronald Dale McNeil, 3 rd – Ronnie Sims, 4 th – Wesley Sain, 5 th – Nikki Long.

A grand total of over $32,000 was awarded in the season-long points chase, including NASCAR points funds, Hickory Motor Speedway points funds, and Division Sponsorships. The Speedway Women's Club sponsored the cash awards for Limited Late Models, Pro-4's, Street Stocks, and Hobby Stocks.
