THE POINT STANDINGS ARE FINAL AT HICKORY MOTOR SPEEDWAYThe 2010 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series point battles are final after an exciting end to the racing season. Sept. 25 , 2010 Hendersonville, NC ( Newton, NC – September 25, 2010 ) The 2010 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing season came to an end on Saturday, September 18, 2010 during AT&T Championship Night presented by Gaston Rentals, or so track officials thought. During an intense final lap of the Hickory Street Stock 30-lap feature, a caution waved after all cars took the white flag. Officials called for a green-white-checkered finish; however the race was technically complete at that point. Hickory Motor Speedway General Manager, Kevin Piercy, along with guidance from NASCAR worked tirelessly this past week to determine the correct finishing order for the event. Final race results for Championship Night were released the morning of September 25, 2010 detailing the correct Hickory Street Stock finishing order. The final point standings listed below reflect the official race results from the September 18, 2010 Championship Event.
