Berry Secures Championships
and the Final Round of the Paramount Kia "Big 10" Racing Challenge

(Newton, NC - - Sept. 13, 2014) Josh Berry had multiple reasons to celebrate Victory Lane Saturday night after winning the 10th and final race of the Paramount KIA "Big 10" Chase for the Championship while picking up titles for both the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Bojangles' Late Models and Paramount KIA ‘Big 10' Race Championships. Travis Byrd (No. 77 – Gold King Limited Late Model), Kevin Townsend (No. 10 – Street Stock), Sheflon Clay (No. 15 – Super Trucks), Matt Elledge (No. 99 – 4-Cylinders) and Darren Dickenson (No. 6 – WrenchRags Renegades) also earned the chance to celebrate in Victory Lane following their individual wins as the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series hit the track for Cargo Transports Championship Night presented by NAPA Auto Parts.

Taylor Stricklin (Gold King Street Stocks), Kevin Eby (Street Stocks), Spencer Boyd (Super Trucks), Matt Elledge (4-Cylinders) and Kenneth Roberts (WrenchRags Renegades) all were crowned champions in their respective divisions.

The No. 98 of Todd Gilliand posted the fastest qualifying speed and started from the pole position for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Bojangles' Late Models feature. Berry showed dominance during the 100-lap event holding onto the top spot following multiple caution periods and a some late race challenges by the No. 25 of Matt Piercy to pick up the win and the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All American Series Bojangles' Late Model Championship along with winning the points battle in the Paramount KIA "Big 10" Chase for the Championship. Piercy was left to settle for a second-place finish. The No. 41 of Brayton Haws, No. 00 of Shane Lee and the No. 5 of Bret Holmes rounded out the top five.

Evan Duggins (No. 12) earned the pole position for the Gold King Limited Late Model race, but surrendered the top spot to the No. 77 of Travis Byrd on lap 17. The two battled side-by-side for the next 10 laps exchanging the top stop. On lap 27, Byrd settled into the lead leaving the competition to battle for position behind him. Byrd went on to pick up the win while the No. 1 of Trent Barnes finished second. The No. 7 of Taylor Stricklin earned a third-place result and the season Championship, while Duggins and the No. 8 of Zachary Bruenger finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

The No. 03 of Kevin Eby picked up the pole position for the Street Stock race. Eby had a solid run going until the No. 10 of Kevin Townsend drove by on lap nine taking over the lead. The two ran side-by-side and battled hard for position during the 30-lap event. Eby made one final attempt to make a move on Townsend but came up short. Townsend drove on to Victory Lane, while Eby settled for a second-place result. Even though he didn't get the win, he did earn another Street Stock Championship. The. No. 64 of Marshall Sutton finished third, the No. 2 of Larry Mosher fourth and the No. 18 of Cody DeMarmels fifth.

The No. 7 of Whitney Lail survived multiple on-track incidents, but went on to finish third, with the No. 91 of Keith Norville and the No. 77 of Tal Davidson closing out the top five.

The No. 98 of Chase Pollard led the 4-Cylinder field to the green flag for the 25-lap event and spent the first half of the race running door to door with the No. 99 of Matt Elledge. Pollard got loose heading out of turn two allowing Elledge to settle into the top position and pull away from the competition. Elledge remained out front on his way to Victory Lane picking up the win and the 2014 4-Cylinder Championship. The No. 00 of Eddie Gilbert, Pollard, No. 17 of Curtis Pardue and the No. 98 of Rob Lewis rounded out the top five.

The No. 8 of Kenneth Roberts brought the field to green for the 20-lap WrenchRags Renegades event. Roberts struggled on the start, giving up the top spot to the No. 09 of Blake Walker. Roberts resumed his position out front when Walker spun heading into turn four on lap six. Back under green-flag conditions, Roberts slowly began to pull away from the field on his way to Victory Lane and the season championship for the WrenchRags Renegades. The No. 77 of Shawn Hayes came home second, No. 71 of Kyle DiVanna third, Walker fourth and the No. 6 of Darren Dickinson closed out the top five.
