All drivers must attempt to qualify for this event. The decision of what constitutes a qualifying attempt shall be at the discretion of the Officials in charge of the event. NOTE: This is a NASCAR sanctioned event and points will be awarded.

Starting positions 1st thru 28th will be assigned by order of qualifying time. Positions 29th thru 32nd will be track provisional positions assigned by Hickory Motor Speedway. If qualifying for the event on Sunday, September 4, 2011 cannot be completed as scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances and is not rescheduled the starting field for the 34th ANNUAL BOBBY ISAAC MEMORIAL will be determined by the following procedures:

• Starting positions 1st thru 28th will be assigned by the postmarked date on the entries received.

• Starting positions 29th thru 32nd will be assigned by track provisional positions selected by Hickory Motor Speedway.

The decision of what constitutes an official qualifying attempt or official practice attempt shall be at the discretion of the Track Official in charge of the event.

If duplicate qualifying times are recorded, the first car to qualify in the qualifying order will be awarded the qualifying position.

All cars must run Goodyear D-2902. Tires used in practice, qualifying and the race must be purchased and mounted at the track and will be impounded. Cars will be required to qualify in time trials on new (sticker) tires and start the race on the same tires. A maximum of four (4) Goodyear D-2902 tires will be permitted for the race.

NOTE: Practice tires will be available Saturday and Sunday or competitors may call 828.217.0002 to pick up practice tires.

All cars must use Sunoco Purple 110 Octane Fuel purchased at the track – 15 gallons @ $8.75 is required. Fuel must be used exactly as supplied by fuel dispensing equipment at the track.

This event will be run in accordance with the applicable NASCAR rules as presented in the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Division Rule Book, the provisions of the Official Entry Blank, any special rules applicable to the event and any amendments thereto with the following exceptions; all cars must maintain a total weight of 3100 pounds with a minimum right side weight of 1375 pounds. Crate Engines will be eligible: see Crate Engine Section of the track rules at www.hickorymotorspeedway.com for specifications. In the event of any conflict between the Rule Book, the Official Entry Blank and the special rules, Track Officials will determine the interpretation and application of the conflicting rules and their decision will be final.

Each Team must have a spotter during practice, qualifying and the 150-Lap Feature.
